NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS: Category 5 Super Typhoon Sinlaku’s high winds and 42-foot waves caused destruction and power outages.
We thank You, Lord, for Kirk’s bravery and the way You used him to stop the mass shooting. We ask You now for the heart of the shooter, Victor, and also the shooter in Atlanta, Olaolukitan. Please break the chains that bind them to the enemy’s purposes, and set them free to know You. Please be with those who were traumatized by these shootings, as well as the young people in Turkey. Heal their minds and hearts and draw them to Yourself and show them the way to salvation in a way they can easily receive. Please heal those who are injured, comfort those who mourn, provide for those in need, and rebuild the lives of those who have lost much. In the midst of fear, bring peace through Your love. We pray especially also for the Rohingya and other refugees who survived the boat accident. Please provide for them a safe home and a way to know Your love. Bring Christians to them to share with them Your good news. Do all these things in such a way that they will know You are the One who did that. For Christians who are injured or who have lost loved ones, please carry them through this difficult time like only You can. Renew their strength and empower them to encourage others around them who are also hurting, offering them hope, a safe shoulder to cry on, and the way to salvation. Bless Christians so abundantly they will also abundantly bless others in need. Bring forth a mighty movement of Your Spirit all across each of these nations, leading thousands to faith in You. Open the eyes of the spiritually blind to see You as You truly are, and awaken every heart to Your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
