30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening

March 1-30, 2025

Come join us for 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening, March 1-30, 2025, as we pray for persecuted Christians and for every nation to awaken to Christ’s love. Our dates coincide with Ramadan, a month where followers of Islam fast and seek God in prayer, so we will also be praying daily that Muslims seeking Truth will indeed find Him!

Let’s raise up a mighty army of prayer warriors to push back the darkness and pray forth God’s purposes in our nation and in the world during these trying times!

Would you like to fast as you pray, but you’re not sure how? Pop on over to our So You Think You Can’t Fast page for ideas. And don’t forget to pick up your free guide to knowing God’s voice!

For a full-color prayer book to guide you as you pray, see 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening, Volume 2, at MoreThanAConquerorBooks.com.

Use this beautiful prayer book in your quiet times, pray through it together with your church, life group or other prayer group; or even just give it as a special gift for someone who loves to pray. The daily prayers correspond with our prayers here at the Prayer Wall, but they are undated, so you can start your 30 days anytime, and continue praying through every corner of the world each month.

Suggestions for a Meaningful 30 Days of Prayer:

  • Do a group chat or phone text, sharing the daily posts, and agreeing together in prayer.
  • Set aside time daily in your quiet times to pray for specific people you know who are lost, and ask the Lord to open up opportunities to share Jesus with them.
  • Do a Parallel Fast. Muslims will be fasting and seeking God during their Islamic Ramadan March 11-April 9. Typically, they fast until supper and then eat a special meal. Why not ask the Lord if He would have you also fast until supper, as you pray for them and for others throughout the world who do not know Christ?
  • Dinner and a Prayer: Cook a themed dinner (see suggestions below), according to that day’s prayer emphasis, and arrange for your children to do research on that area of the world and present it before you worship and pray together.
  • Ask the Lord if He wants you to fast a meal or two a day, or from certain foods or distractions (like social media, gaming, etc.). Want some other ideas for fasting? Check out our So You Think You Can’t Fast page.
  • Download this prayer guide for the 31 largest frontier people groups that still need Christ, and pray for one or more of these a day.
  • Become familiar with the top 50 most dangerous nations for Christians where persecution is at the highest, and pray for both persecutors and the persecuted in those closed countries.
  • See Voice of the Martyrs prayer updates on persecuted Christians worldwide.
  • Pray for our nation’s leaders to turn to Christ and lead our nation in His ways.
  • Have family worship services together to intercede for the nations.
  • Lay a map of the world out on the floor, or use a globe, and lay hands on each country as you pray.
  • Prayerwalk (or drive-by pray) your neighborhood or other areas where there are internationals, businesses, government seats, homeless, churches, elderly, sick, or any place else God lays on your heart.
  • Make a poster, and write out the prayers and verses God lays on your heart, and then keep that poster somewhere where you and your family can continue to pray daily.
  • Write in your journal your daily prayers and verses during this time, and keep it by your Bible, so you will continue to pray daily for worldwide revival.
  • Other ideas (Please share in the comments.)

Because prayer for awakening begins in your own heart, we highly recommend Dare to Be a Mighty Warrior or Delight to Be a Woman of Wonder for ongoing heart-transformation. Deep in the Word, these devotional Bible studies contain practical, tactical, biblical spiritual warfare strategies for overcoming the enemy and removing the barriers to oneness with Christ and each other. Both are available at our Online Store.

The strategies in these two books are the same, so couples can study together, but one is for men and the other for women.

If you would like to help your children also grow in oneness with Christ and others, we recommend these Pure-As-Gold Seal Bible study workbooks and other resources for singles, tweens and younger children at MoreThanAConquerorBooks.com:

Lord, we ask You for an awakening all across this nation and the world. May every heart, every home, every nation, every tribe, every language hunger to know You as the One True God. For those who have never heard Your name, Jesus, make Your name known now. Meet them in their dreams. Bring Christians across their path to show them love. Get up in their face, so close they can see the never-ending flame in Your eyes burning with boundless love. Invade their space. Let them feel You there with them, closer than their skin. Be their Safe Place, where they can lay down all their anxious fears and rest in the safety of fear of the Lord. Tear down every idol. Shake the things this world has stood upon. And speak, Lord, so loudly there will be no doubt in anyone’s mind that You alone are God and You alone are Good. Psalm 29 says Your voice is “powerful.” It breaks the nations, and shakes the earth. Show Yourself strong. Let no one say Your arm is too short to save. Reach into every home and every heart to heal those who are hurting, restore what has been lost, and save those who have not yet believed. Strengthen Your church. Give us courage to stand in the face of persecution. Bring the downfall of evil governments, and open the way for peace, especially in the lives of those who have only known abuse, oppression and war. Teach us how to pray for our neighbors, both near and far. And bring forth a mighty revival all across this earth. Tear down every wall that has been set up against You. Set captive hearts free. And usher in a new era of openness to the Gospel like never before. Meet every heart right where they are. Flood them with Your truth, grace, and love, so they will know without a doubt that You are the One they’ve been looking for. May they fall to their knees in worship, receive Your salvation, and follow You alone. In Your name. Amen.

Dinner and a Prayer:

To make your 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening all the more meaningful, why not prepare a themed family meal each day as you pray? We suggest you look up recipes online that work best for your family’s needs, but here are some fun ideas for meal plans and family prayer times:

  1. My Own Heart: Cook your family’s favorite dishes. Over dinner, ask each family member in what ways they’d like to grow closer to God. Then pray for each other.
  2. Home Country: Serve favorite dishes from your home country for dinner, and talk together about cultural or other barriers that have kept the lost from choosing Christ. Then pray for people you know who are lost, government leaders, schools, local businesses and others as God leads. Take a walk through your neighborhood after dinner and pray for those who live in every house. If you meet someone along the way, ask them if there’s anything they would like you to pray for, and then pray for them.
  3. The Church: Have your children ask your pastor (or other minister) what his favorite meal is, and prepare that for dinner tonight. Ask him for specific prayer requests and tell him your family will be praying for him. Better yet, invite his family for dinner and pray for them in person.
  4. Persecuted Church: Pick one or more countries where Christians are persecuted, and search out recipes online to cook for dinner. You can also invite your children to do research on one or more of these countries and prepare to share at dinner what they found.
