Pray for those involved in these tragic situations, that God will comfort those who mourn, heal the wounded and draw all people to Himself.
EUROPE: Wildfires killed two on the island of Salamina, GREECE, and destroyed more than 3,000 hectares in BELGIUM. Other blazes burn in CROATIA and the UK.
HUNGARY: A bus accident in Mezokeresztes on Sunday killed 12 pilgrims from POLAND returning from Medjugorje in BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA, where visions of the Virgin Mary have been reported. Ten others were seriously injured, with 37 suffering minor injuries.
ZIMBABWE: The death toll from last Tuesday’s ferry accident has risen to 72, including 18 children.
SPAIN: Two women died in a landslide Saturday in Manzanedo de Valdueza after torrential rain.
RUSSIA lost 42,860 Russian soldiers on the battlefield last month, including dead and wounded, bringing total casualties up to nearly 1.5 million since the war with UKRAINE began in 2022.
Loving Father, we ask for Your mercy, please. Protect and rescue those in danger, heal those who are injured, comfort those who mourn, provide for those in need, and rebuild the lives and homes of those who have lost so much. Do all these things in such a way that they will know You are the One who did that. When they cry out to You, answer them. Perform signs and wonders, miraculous healings, rescues and provision. Protect the children, heal hurting hearts and provide safe shelter, electricity, food and water for those without. Place within every soul a deep thirst for You. Remove every barrier that has kept them from salvation and give them courage to seek You and find You. Bring loving Christians to the lost to share Your Good News. For Christians who are homeless now or who have lost loved ones, please carry them through this difficult time like only You can. Renew their strength and empower them to encourage others around them who are also hurting, offering them hope, a safe shoulder to cry on, and the way to salvation. Bless Christians so abundantly they will also abundantly bless others in need, showing how real Your love is. Bring forth a mighty movement of Your Spirit all across each of these countries and beyond, leading thousands to faith in You. Open the eyes of the spiritually blind to see You as You truly are, and awaken every heart to Your truth and grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
