Let’s pray today for those who have yet to believe in the One who died to set them free.
Thank You, Lord, for taking upon Yourself the weight of our sin and bearing it in our place as You died upon that cross and then, three days later, rose from the dead. Because of Your sacrifice and resurrection, we now have salvation and eternal life. But, Jesus, today, we cry out to You for those we love who still have not chosen to follow You. They don’t know the joy and peace that come from Your everlasting love and grace. Please, Lord, give them a thirst for Your Living Water that drives them to You, so they will drink deeply of Your love and salvation, and never thirst again. And we ask You also for the many millions across the world who still have not heard Your Good News. Open up a way for them to hear Your story of grace in a way they can easily understand. Visit them in their dreams tonight. Talk with them throughout the day. Make a way, Lord, for them to know You. Cast down every argument that sets itself up against the knowledge of You. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Loudly destroy with Your Truth every lofty lie that raises its head up to mock You. Trample the enemy under Your glorious feet, and open the eyes of those he has blinded to see You as You truly are, and be saved. In Your name we ask this, Lord Jesus. Amen.
