Praise the Lord for an answer to our prayers for Oleshky, where civilians have been cut off from food and medical care. US First Lady Melania Trump helped secure a temporary ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine for that city, beginning October 27, so humanitarian aid can get in to those in desperate need and civilians who need to be evacuated will have a safe passageway out.
Lord, we thank You for this answer to prayer. Please protect and rescue those in danger, heal those who are injured, comfort those who mourn, provide for those in need, and rebuild the lives and homes of those who have lost so much. Hold this ceasefire in a way that everyone will know Your hand of mercy in this. Give leaders and soldiers on both sides wisdom and perseverance. Send in Your angels to safely escort people out of the city, and to shield those bringing in aid. Make the way for every person to receive the nourishment and care they need, but especially to hear Your good news for their salvation so their minds and hearts will be healed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
