Revival, Mass Baptisms Across the World

Here at the Prayer Wall, we have been praying for the nations to awaken to Christ. Read today’s exciting report of how He is answering, and pray for these new believers to grow strong in their faith and to reach out to their lost neighbors to share God’s love:

BELARUS: Nearly 31,000 people gathered in Chizhovka Arena to hear Franklin Graham preach the gospel during a Festival of Hope May 16-17. The stadium was so full, many stood outside to listen. Hundreds gave their hearts to Jesus, and 2,000 Bibles were given to those who responded to the gospel message.

LAOS: A poor Christian schoolteacher in a mostly Buddhist village shared the gospel with his neighbors. When some responded, he began holding worship services, but village leaders ordered him to stop. Still more people came to faith, and continue to choose Jesus. Now these believers are facing much persecution. (VOM USA, Facebook, September 2)

THAILAND: More than 7,000 Christians gathered at Central Pattaya Beach July 4 for worship and public baptisms of more than 600 new believers.

AUSTRALIA: A mass baptism of around 1,000 new believers was held in Perth along the Swan River on Good Friday, organized by Kingdomcity megachurch.

GAZA: Muslims continue to experience dreams and encounters with Jesus. New Palestinian Christians are sharing with lost neighbors, and the underground church is growing.

ISRAEL: After the recent war and continued unrest, Israeli Jews who previously were not active in their faith are now praying and seeking God. Some are also seeking Jesus. One Christian ministry reported close to 200 Israelis chose to believe in Christ in the last two years.

INDIA: 100,000 Christians gathered in Nagaland in December. Several other gatherings and revival events have happened in that region over the past few months, as well.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask You to move all the more. Meet every lost person in their dreams to show them the way to salvation. Lead them to sites on the internet or across social media where they will find You. Guide them to loving Christians and churches. Give them a hunger for Truth that drives them to seek You until they find You. Empower Your church with love, faith and deep knowledge and understanding of Your Word. Make us bold to stand for You, even in the midst of persecution, to love our persecutors and to share Christ with those who so desperately need You. Make us lights in the midst of this present darkness, and bring forth revival all across these nations and the entire world. Make the way where there seems to be no way for every heart to hear Your good news such that they can easily understand it and be saved. As we pray right now, Lord, show each one of us the part You want us to play in leading the lost to You. Move like never before. Answer every prayer of faith in powerful ways that all who see will know only You could do that. Heal the sick, the blind, the lame. Break the chains of addictions, strongholds and demons. Set the captives free. Show Yourself strong in the eyes of all the world. May every knee bow and every tongue confess that You alone are God. For every Christian who is persecuted, bring 1,000 lost people to faith in Christ. For every church that is closed or burned, plant 1,000 more. Make the way for the Word to be translated into every language and made available to every person in a way they can easily understand. And bring forth Your kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
