Are you going through a wilderness season now? What does your “wasteland” look like?
Hard trials? Lonely times? Restless nights? Uncomfortable situations? Danger on every side? Temptation? Enemy attacks when you’re at your weakest?
What if Your loving Father has drawn you into this desert, and even allowed these hardships and enemy attacks, because He’s drawing you to Himself? Hosea 2:14-15.
What if all that you’re going through works together for your anointing? What if the intimacy with Him, the surrender to His will that He’s pressing into you during this difficult season, you will need in the season of ministry yet to come?
Hold fast to His path, and step up into His arms. He’s teaching you how to let Him carry you.
Lord, my enemy has been pressing in hard against me, but I know that no matter what he is doing, You are doing much more and it is good, for You are good. Give me patience and steadfastness. But most of all, draw me close to You. Whatever is in my heart that has been pulling me down and holding me back from walking in the fullness of what You have called me to, please break those chains and set me free. Teach me to surrender fully to You. To trust Your good plans, even when things aren’t going the way that I want. Pull me up into Your arms and carry me. If I must walk through this wilderness, I want to walk through it with You. Wherever You lead, that’s where I want to go.
