The Arsenal

The Lord reminded me today of this word He gave for the prayer warriors in July of 2020 as the Prayer Wall was just beginning. In the first paragraph below, I can’t help but think of all the violence that has exploded in Nigeria, Israel, Gaza, Iran, Ukraine, Myanmar and so many other places since; but also the more than a million Muslims and other extremists who have come to Christ! The very violence and evil meant to deter people from seeking Truth (John 14:6) only served to push them straight into His arms.

The days are coming, and soon are here, when the world as you know it will change in violent ways. People, even many of My own people, will fall to Satan’s schemes and involve themselves in many hideous crimes. But as the darkness gets darker, My light shines brighter. Those who are committed to Me will rise up as a mighty, shining army to expose the deeds of darkness, and invite those who have been bound to its power into My love. For love is the greatest power of all. Love defeats the enemy. Every. Time.

People of God, let us rise up now, My beloved children, and love like never before. Take the time to step into My arsenal and choose each weapon carefully. For every person, every situation, is different. You must use the proper love tactic in each circumstance to fire My arrows of love true, straight to the heart, so the demons will lose their grasp, and the wicked lies that have pushed My people, as well as those who are lost, to fight for the enemy rather than for Truth will be crushed, split into smithereens, and My love will grow once more where at first it grew in the tender soil of innocence. I will once again plant love there, in those hardened hearts, and it will rise up and take over the hatred. For love is stronger than death. And light always expels darkness.

The fight will not be easy, My beloved, but the love you are armed with is not your own. It is My love flowing through you. Love with the power to heal, to save, to renew, to raise from the dead, to transform a heart and make it Mine.

I am your Arsenal. For I am Love. 1 John 4.

Lord, teach us to love. Empower us to move beyond our pettiness, beyond the traumas we have sustained in the past and the reactions those memories produce in us. Empower us to reach past the hurt and anger, and grab hold of Truth. That You have overcome the world. That Your Word is my sword, not my fist or bitter words on my lips. That with You all things are possible. If You could change Paul’s heart, You can change mine. And You can change that person who offended me. O God, this world is facing far more problems than what I face now. Whole families, people groups and nations are being slaughtered. Whatever injustice I have faced that has loomed so great before me, it is nothing compared to what so many innocent people are facing right now in places like Nigeria and Iran. Show me how to rise up and fight. Not for my way. But for Yours. Teach me to fight for the things of Your heart. Help me see others with Your eyes, love with Your love, act by Your hand. Empower me with Your Spirit to be the difference. Here in my family. In my neighborhood. In my city, nation and the world. Blast the darkness all around me, and even within me, with Your light, Lord. Change me. And then let’s go out there and change the world together. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
