Breathtaking Display

Have you ever seen a dancing fountain? Some ingenious person orchestrates just how high and far the water will shoot from each spout at just the right moments to create an awesome, ever-changing display.

One morning, the Lord awakened me to a vision of just such a dancing fountain. I saw how beautiful we, His people are, as His Spirit moves us this way and that, together as one in His love. When a powerful burst spurted high into the sky, onlookers stopped and stared. And even got wet.

This is what it’s like when we each draw close to the Lord and drink of His Living Water. His grace cleanses and transforms us. Love bubbles up within us and we cannot be stagnant. Under His Spirit’s direction and in His empowering, as we express our love for Him in all the unique gifts and callings He has given us, we move in harmony together, even without knowing or understanding what He’s doing with that “spout” next to us.

What a display His Spirit-driven church must make for those who have yet to taste the fountains of His love!

Dance to the flow of My Living Water.

To the melody of My grace,

For you were made for this.

Be a channel for My glory.

Flowing with Me first this way.

Then that.

Brushing up against another’s flow.

Relishing that moment together in Me.

Then moving on to the next encounter.

Yes, dance in harmony now.

Cleansing waters.

Refreshing.

Renewing.

Gentle, yet powerful.

Together now.

Ebbing and flowing as one.

Beautiful I am within you.

Beautiful in all the many unique ways.

Every water drop a different shape.

And yet so alike.

For it is all My Living Water.

Droplets of Life forming this shape here.

That shape there.

Together opening the way

For rainbows of My promises.

Stop.

Look.

Yes, there I am.

See Me now.

In that one there.

Bursting forth.

Rising high above.

Come up here with Me.

Or just watch.

Either way, I will take your breath away.

Yes, I see they want a drink.

Those onlookers, who thought to only glance.

We’ve caught their attention now.

Spellbound they are for this moment

Let’s show them who I am.

Come up here with Me.

Then you can see

What the people are about.

And why I have placed you

Here in their midst.

For such a time as this.

To flow in My Spirit.

To show them My glory.

To enjoy Me.

So jubilant you are in My love

They thirst to step in.

To be renewed.

Washed clean.

Even as you have been.

To flow purely upward toward Me.

Empowered by My love.

To be more than they ever thought to be.

Even as you are daring now.

Yes, you were created for this.

And so were they.

Let’s splash them.

Yes, let’s awaken them now.

Call them into My fountain.

Come here.

Come now.

Come drink.

And never thirst again.

Does this message from the Lord, stir your heart? Make you want to experience Him in deep ways? Pray with us today.

Lord, take our breath away. Don’t let us be stagnant. Transform our hearts with Your love and grace. Call us to higher heights with You and deeper depths of Your love. Empower us by Your Spirit and move us in the directions You want us to go. I want to be used by You to draw others in, so they can also experience the fountains of Your love and grace.

Don’t hold back. Reach, until you find yourself so close to Me, the earth tinies beneath you. Linger in that intimate moment, when your viewpoint is that from above, so you can see where you are and where I’m taking you. So you can see why I’ve placed you here in this moment, among all those who are watching you. Yes, they have stopped now. I have their attention. They see the refreshing fountains of My love within you and how I have lifted you high above your circumstances, high above what everyone else is doing, and have called you to point upward. To Me. To the One who dances within you, the One whose joy is your strength. Rise, My beloved, and show them what you are made of. For you were nothing until My waters flowed through you to shape you into a beautiful channel for My glory. Linger here as long as you wish with Me. For this is what you were created for. Sprinkle them with the refreshing droplets of My flow, so they will taste and see that I can change them, renew them, re-form them to join in the dance of My life within theirs, until all that was nothing disappears and I become their one desire.
