Freed Kidnapping Victim Delivers Video Message to Her Abductors

When Alix Dorsainvil, a missionary nurse with El Roi Haiti was abducted last month along with her baby daughter, thousands of Haitians risked their lives to march in protest, crying out not only for their freedom, but for that of all Haitians held hostage by terrorizing gangs. In fact, just this past weekend gangs open-firedContinue reading “Freed Kidnapping Victim Delivers Video Message to Her Abductors”

The Overcoming

As I asked the Lord today what He wanted to say to His body, this is what He led me to share*: I’m here with you. I know this life has been hard. I know what your past has held and how many questions you have asked about why it had to happen. And IContinue reading “The Overcoming”

Mending Breaches

Pride is at the heart of every argument. Make sure it’s not yours.  It’s important in any conflict to ask the Lord what part we ourselves have played in the problem, and be quick to ask forgiveness. Especially in our families and with our children, no matter what age. As we model humility and love, our childrenContinue reading “Mending Breaches”

Mark 11:25, Romans 4:7; 12:14; Colossians 3:13; 1 Peter 4:8 Yesterday, the Lord awakened me inviting His people to open wide our hearts to forgive, to let the Lord set us free from the old offenses the enemy has still been using to yank us around. Then bitterness and fear will no longer control ourContinue reading “Freedom through Forgiveness”

Forgive

This morning, the Lord woke me up calling His bride to grace and forgiveness. Matthew 6:14-15; Psalm 32:1-5; Romans 12:17-21 When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for all our sin — from the tiniest infraction to that monstrous mistake we still regret. So, if our mile-high debt has been forgiven entirely, why areContinue reading “Forgive”
