ISRAEL-IRAN: Tensions have risen after Israel intercepted nearly 300 drone attacks by Iran this weekend.
Lord, please draw every person in this Middle East conflict into Your purposes. Stop the violence, and meet every heart in their dreams and throughout the day, speaking Your truth in such a way that the veil is lifted from their eyes and they see You as You truly are. When they cry out to You, answer them. Let them know it is You, the One who saves. Give the lost a hunger for You so they will search for Your Truth with all their hearts. Awaken Israel, Iran, Gaza, Lebanon, the West Bank and all nations to You.
HAITI: Praise God, a nonprofit, HaitiChildren.com, was able to evacuate 59 orphans with disabilities and 13 caretakers last month from the gang-ravaged country. All are safely in Jamaica now.
Lord, we thank You for this and many other evacuations that have successfully occurred in recent days. We ask You to please put an end to the gang wars. Guide the new transitional council as they seek a plan. Thwart the plans of every murderer and rapist, and rescue those in danger. Be a Shield around the innocent, and pursue their attackers with Your relentless love and justice, until every heart has met with Almighty God and surrendered to You.
KAZAKHSTAN and RUSSIA: More than 12,000 homes are flooded and thousands of people have been displaced due to rising waters from the Ural River.
Lord, please be a comfort to those who have lost much. When they cry out to You, answer them. Let them see Your hand at work in their lives in obvious ways. Bless every Christian abundantly, rebuilding their homes and livelihoods in such a way that they will be able to freely reach out to help their lost neighbors who are in need and share the gospel with them. Make salvation spring up from the devastation. Meet every heart in such powerful ways, hundreds will be saved in the coming days.
TAIWAN: At least 16 died and more than 1,100 were injured in the 7.4 magnitude earthquake on April 3 in Hualien County.
Father God, please heal the broken and the wounded. Comfort those who mourn. Meet with every person affected by the earthquakes, and show them Your love. Make a way for them to hear Your gospel. Bring Christians into their path to love them and help them rebuild their eyes. From out of the rubble, bring forth Awakening. Bring forth the future You have planned for Taiwan.
AUSTRALIA: Six people died and several others were injured, including a child, in a mass stabbing at a shopping center in Sydney Saturday.
Father, please comfort those who mourn, and heal those who are wounded. Bring Christians to them to show them Your love. Change the hearts of those bent on evil in Sydney. Break the chains that bind them to Satan’s purposes. Begin even now to sow seeds for revival in that city. Awaken every heart to Your love and redemption.
SUDAN: More than 8.6 million people have been displaced since war broke out a year ago. Hundreds of thousands face starvation.
Lord, multitudes are dying day by day without ever hearing the good news about Jesus. Save them, please. Make a way for them to know of Your love and the sacrifice You gave so that they can be free. Bring Christian aid workers to them to help them and show them what Love is like. Shield the innocent. Heal the broken. And perform such acts by Your mighty hand that the violent fall to their knees in fear of the Lord and choose Your salvation.
