State Leaders

Pray for the leaders of your home state by name. (Click on the blue letters and then look for your state and follow the links to get to the names.)

Lord, please place into position Your choice for our Governor, state representatives, senators, and courts, and give them wisdom to make decisions that bless the citizens of our state, not oppress. Bless and protect every leader who follows Your lead and fights for Your purposes. Give them favor with the people and set them up for election and re-election. Suppress wrong and bring forth right in every office. Remove from office those bent on corruption and evil. Expose bribes, prejudices or other agreements and actions that oppress the innocent, and bring forth justice for criminals and protection for those who are under attack. Put into place bills and laws that are Your plans, O God, and crush every plan of the enemy. Protect our police force. Provide the funds, personnel and training for them to protect our families, homes and businesses. Keep our babies, children and youth safe. Make schools a protected space for children to grow and learn without being manipulated by twisted teachings. Give leaders wisdom to win the war on drugs, violence, and anything else threatening our the people in our state. Make our streets a safe place for children to play, and our churches a safe place to worship. Open up places of refuge and other ways for those in need to get help. Give every leader and every person a hunger for You so strong, they lay down everything they’ve been chasing after that isn’t You, and surrender to Your love.
