30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening
Bible Reading: Psalm 122:6-9
What country are you living in? Is that different from where your parents are from or where you are raising your children now? Today, wherever you live or call home, pray for those countries or cities.
Lord, we ask You for PEACE in this nation and in every heart. Please make this a safe place for our children and our children’s children. But even if not, make us and our children beacons in the darkness, holy and set apart unto You. Raise up a mighty army of light-bearers and world-changers, who will stop at nothing to preach the Good News and love the lost into Your arms. Ground us with truth and intimacy with You. May revival begin in our own hearts and in our families; then spread out to flood this whole earth with Your glory. So many in our nation are overwhelmed with anxiety and fear of the future right now, Lord. They feel helpless to make a difference, even when they try. But we were not made to change the world on our own or in the manner in which we think it should be changed. Only You know where You’re taking us, and only Your plans are good and right. So set us free from our fears. Teach us to trust in You. Increase our faith. Empower our prayers. Revive us, Lord. Remind believers of the treasure of salvation so we will openly share the goodness of Your love. Flood our cities with Your angel armies of Light to fight on our side and push back the darkness. Turn those bent on wrong to do what is right. Awaken those who have fought against you. Give them a powerful encounter with Truth, even as You did with Paul; and save them. Overcome violence, corruption and hatred with salvation, goodness and love. Wherever the enemy seeks to kill, steal or destroy, crush his plans; and bring abundant LIFE. John 10:10. Rebuild broken hearts with Your perfect love. Raise up teachers for our children who love you and teach what is true and moral in our schools, and protect their positions. Remove teachers who seek to lead our youth astray. Raise up Christian youth with a passion for You, and draw many to salvation and oneness with You through them. Defender of the weak, guard the children, please. Whenever those bent on evil rise up against the innocent, freeze their hands and tongues. Make them unable to move until they call upon You to save them. Pursue evildoers. Follow them into the dens where they plot and execute evil. Invade that space with Your glory and Your angels. Push out the enemy and SPEAK. Loudly. Clearly. ACT, please, God. Powerfully. Show up in their midst as You did with Paul, and bring them to their knees with fear of the Lord. Haunt their dreams with Your message of grace. And fill their sight with visions of Your open arms. Convert evildoers so dramatically, everyone around them drops their self-seeking and seeks You instead. Strike them with true fear of the Lord that hushes them into submission to You. May they no longer abuse the innocent to feed their sick desires. Break them free from their addictions by the power of Your glorious grace. Turn their hearts around from hurting others to laying down their lives for them in love, even as You laid down Yours for us. Awaken every leader. Put into places of authority those who will bless our country, and take out of office those who pursue evil. Flood our government with Your presence and Your angels. Set each leader free from the enemy’s agendas to join You in blessing this nation with a hope and a future. Plant within every person with influence such a hunger for You that they lay everything down to seek You and find You. Jeremiah 29:11-14. Expose every evil deed, and bring evildoers not only to justice, but to salvation. Spark a revival within our government, where those bent on evil have nowhere to execute their plans, and every slanderous insult of the righteous is proven so loudly a lie that they lay it all down to follow Truth. We speak LIFE over this country now, Lord, in the name of Jesus. FAITH. HOPE, and LOVE. And the greatest of these is Love. 1 Corinthians 13.
Parallel Prayer: Our 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening coincides with Ramadan. April 2-May 1, Muslims throughout the world are fasting and seeking God right now. Let’s pray they find Him! If you know personally of Muslims in your community, pray for them by name.
Lord, we ask You, please for a great awakening to Your love in every Muslim heart, home and community in my home country. Give them such a deep hunger for You, they will see their need for a Savior and search for You until they find You. May they walk out of their mosques and into Your arms. Point them to Christians or a church that will love them deeply and share with them clearly Your plan of salvation. Open their eyes to see the love, joy and peace that have been stolen from them, and give them boldness to bring their family with them into Your arms, no matter the cost. Protect those who seek You, Lord, and when they find You, make them such bright lights in their community many will come to the light of Your love and be saved. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dinner and a Prayer: If you want to deepen your family’s prayer adventure, serve favorite dishes from your home country for dinner, and talk together about some of the barriers you’ve seen among young people or in other areas of life that have kept them from choosing Christ. Then pray for government leaders, neighbors, schools, teachers, business owners, and anyone else God leads you to. Take a walk through your neighborhood and pray for those who live in every house.

PRAYER WALL 
Father of the USA, It is with deep gratitude to You for designating this nation for me to live. I thank You for the Christian principles upon which this nation was formed. I thank You for the men and women who came before me and paved the way and means for me to live in this place. Father, our nation faces grave challenges, challenges unlike anything before. Evil in all its forms seek to steal, kill, and destroy us. However, You are the LORD over every nation. You are the LORD over this nation-the United States of America. You rule and reign over every nation and over every leader. Your plans and purposes will be accomplished. No one or no thing can thwart Your Will. This is my declaration of agreement to what Your word says. May it be so, Lord. Abba Father, stretch forth Your righteous right hand and stop the onslaught of evil and unholy attacks against us. May every evil plan and deed be exposed and done away with. May the blood of Jesus cover every branch of government, our schools, our universities, our churches. May the Blood cover the media as it seems to multiply the lies. Shut their mouths. Seal their mouths from speaking untruths or manipulating their versions of truth, which is not truth. You are Truth. Your word is Truth. May our nation experience a mighty call for genuine repentance. May it begin in my own life. May the Light of Christ shine in me and allow others to see Jesus in me. It’s all about You. Raise up Your army of believers, young and old, who are bold as lions for You. Give them Your heart to love others into Your kingdom. May Holy Spirit be poured out on every person in the United States. Every family member, every friend, every leader in all areas. May we rise up as mighty men and women of God and say, “Enough!” Wickedness, be gone. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered. Let the fear of the Lord fall on this nation that hearts will be pulled to You. Breakdown strongholds, rituals, lies, sins, iniquities, and transgressions in all their forms. Protect our most vulnerable-the children and the elderly. Their lives matter. Bless and heal our land. Heal our commerce and economy. Help the small business owners as well as the larger industries. May they willingly surrender all that they own to You for Your kingdom to flourish. Lord, may the Light of Christ the Lord be a beacon for all the world to see and be drawn to. We cry out to You. There is no one else who can save us but You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
