Lord, today we pray for those across the world who are oppressed through human trafficking. Invade their darkness with Your beauty. Speak to them. Tell them who You created them to be. Envelop them in Your love so completely, whatever the enemy does against them disappears in the vastness of Your love and grace. Be their Shield, such that every evil act against them comes up against YOU, O God, and stops short! Even backfires! This very moment, Lord, expose every human trafficker, and take them down. Open the door, make a way out. Get the oppressed to safety. Reunite them with their families. Even now, call out their rescuers who will steal them back from the enemy’s plans and into Your arms. Storm the dens where they are hidden. Bring to justice those who oppress and enslave them. And heal each heart and body. Be merciful to them, O God. Meet them in their dreams. Talk them through each terror. Set them free from the traumas, addictions, oppression, and thoughts that torment them. Pour Your love out over them, like cool, refreshing healing balm. Draw them up into Your arms, and give them a safe place, where they can rest and be healed. Set the captives free, O God. Set them free! And Father, we ask You for the children whose parents have pushed them across borders all alone, hoping for a better life for them, but now they are abandoned, hungry, raped, abused, in dangerous situations without their families or someone who truly cares for them. Please, Lord, expose the atrocities, and slam that door shut. Raise up churches and Christian families who will take these children under their wings and care for them somehow. Bring into the open every deed that has been covered up with lies and hidden. Raise up those who will brave the anger of dangerous people in order to rescue the children. Expose and stop the trafficking. Rescue the children, Lord.
