As we came up on our one-year anniversary of the Prayer Wall, I went through a strange night, awakening over and over to the thick presence of the Lord in the room and an inaudible voice breaking through my sleep to urge, “Go higher…. Press deeper…. Push further…. Higher up….”
Awakening. The Great Invitation. Not just for me, but to the whole world. Awakening to something bigger than we could ever be. Deeper depths of love than we could ever imagine. Higher heights of freedom. Grace vast as the universe. Peace such as the world will never give.
There’s a reason why you’re going through this trial right now, and why those in other countries must face theirs. Lay it all down. Whatever you’ve been holding onto that’s not Jesus, surrender it now. Let unrest drive you into the only Arms that satisfy.
There is a God more real than the food we overeat, than the situations we respond to in anger, than the fears that spin us into panic. And He is poised and ready to set you free.
Step in.
Empower us, O Lord, in Your strength to … Climb higher. Plunge deeper. Press harder. Move closer. Grow stronger. Love wider. Know You more.
