Be Still, and Fight!

What battles are you in right now? Don’t just rise up and fight by lashing out.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12 NIV

Your brother is not your enemy, and neither is that person you know who isn’t doing what you want him/her to do. We have a real enemy, and the only way to fight the right fight is in Jesus’ arms, seeing this situation and that person through His eyes.

Step into your quiet time, and seek the Lord for His purposes. He has a perfect plan to carry you through this and come out the other side victorious! If you don’t know what that plan is yet, start with Matthew 22:37. And then let His love empower you to do Matthew 22:39.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Matthew 22:37-39

LOVE is the strategy for victory. Romans 8:31-39.

Be still … and fight!
