Echoing the God of Revival

God is so sweet the way He confirms whatever He is speaking to our hearts. My friend Rachel calls it His “echoes.” I love that word. How intimate and personal that the God who created us would speak to us, and then set creation into motion to echo what He said. The entire time I worked on the visual for this post, I could hear my husband in the other room playing his guitar and singing “God of Revival” over and over. Several times, he stopped briefly to exclaim, “Such a good song!” and then he’d sing it all over again! He had no idea I was over here creating this photo that illustrates the heart of those lyrics. He only stopped singing when I completed the image.

So, with that echo and many more He has given for such a time as this, I am pressing forward to invite you to gather together with me at the foot of Most High’s throne April 13-May 12, 2021, to cry out to the God of Revival, asking Him to awaken us to Him.

Will you set aside one month to purposefully draw near to God? To give Him your time and thoughts, and maybe even fast from something that has distracted you from the more you were created for? To bow at High King’s feet, and let Him awaken you to His loving purposes that maybe you’ve left to the side in all your busyness?
