Lord, Your Word says that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Take away our fear now, Lord, and give us peace. You are our Refuge and Fortress, our God in Whom we trust. You save us from the deadly pestilence. You cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings we find refuge. Your faithfulness is our shield and rampart. We do not fear the terror of night, nor the dangers of the day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at our side, ten thousand at our right hand, but it will not come near us. Because the Lord is our Refuge, and we make the Most High our Dwelling, no harm will overtake us, no disaster will come near our home. For You command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways, to lift us up in their hands, and carry us, trampling underfoot every danger. Because we love You, Lord, You rescue and protect us, for we acknowledge Your name. When we call on You, You answer us. Every time. You are with us in this trouble, to deliver us, honor us, satisfy us with long life, and show us Your salvation. In Your name and by Your own Word we pray, Amen.
