When I asked the Lord for a word for this year 2021, He showed me His wings stretched out over it, one tip touching the beginning of the year, and one the end.

COVERED.

What a powerful word for 2021! So powerful that I’m in the process of creating a book by that name right now. (Pray for me on that, please, for His empowering, and just the words HE wants to write.)

But when He spoke the word, I felt it wasn’t just for me, but for all His people.

Lord, give us courage to surrender to Your Sovereignty this year, to trust in You, listen to Your voice, stand on Your promises. Open up the way for Your truth to go deep in our hearts and knock down every lie. Set us free from fear, anxiety, anger and all the things that hold us back from more of You. Bring us safely under Your covering this year. He hide us beneath Your glorious, all-powerful, sheltering wings, and keep us from all harm. Psalm 91.

  1. This is excellent. When I read the word Covered, it spoke to me on many levels Thanks for sharing. I’m reading Forgiving what you can’t forget and she had an exercise where she specifically forgave x, and verbalized the blood of Christ covered their sins as well
