Only Hidden in Christ Are We Safe
I had a dream of people walking around with imaginary self-protective “walls” that in reality were just thin lines — a mere thread — not a wall at all. Just like we often do, the people in this dream came on way too strong in each situation, too self-important, too conscious of how they look,Continue reading “Only Hidden in Christ Are We Safe”
Unleashing Truth
These days, it feels like our freedoms are slipping away. Those who speak truth or stand up for certain rights can find themselves persecuted severely, even placed in jail. These coups have yet to “fix” the problems of West Africa, and as IContinue reading “Going Coup Coup”

As of early this morning, the death toll is at 101 and rising, more than 1,600 people have been rescued after Hurricane Ian’s destructive path through Florida and beyond, and 491,000 homes still have no power; many also have no drinkable water. Lord, we can’t even imagine what people are going through now in theContinue reading “Those Suffering in Ian’s Wake”

After the death of a woman convicted of not wearing proper attire, protests have erupted all throughout Iran these past two weeks. An unknown number of people have been arrested and dozens have died.
