Winds of Revival: Iran, Nigeria, India, Philippines and Across the World

Pray for these new believers to grow strong in their faith and to reach out to their lost neighbors to share God’s love:

IRAN: Amid protests and unrest, the gospel has continued to spread, as has hope. Under an oppressive regime in a drought-stricken nation where families can no longer afford food or medicines, Jesus is appearing to Muslims in their dreams and supernaturally healing them. Even before the protests, perhaps 50,000 of 75,000 mosques had either closed or fallen into disuse due to low attendance, while perhaps 1-3 million Iranians have left Islam to believe in Jesus. Dreams have played a huge part in their conversion experiences, as have the kindness of Christians, miracles and answered prayer. PHILIPPINES: Despite earthquakes and storms, more and more Filipinos have been awakening to Christ’s love. January 17-18, a reported 135,000 people showed up for Home Free crusades in Manila, with 17,300 choosing to follow Jesus, and 11,975 baptisms.

BRAZIL: Where once evangelical Christianity was a minority in the predominantly Catholic nation, now thousands of worshippers are crowding into a large number of mega-churches. One church in Brasilia hosts 12,000, another in Fortaleza 15,000, and a Pentecostal church in Rio de Janeiro has 100,000 members. There’s even a church of 10,000 across 600 cell groups in the Amazon. More than 14,500 people were baptized in the northwest Amazon basin within the first six months of last year. And many Catholic churches are now worshipping the Lord with much more fervor, as well. NIGERIA: Fulani, former terrorists, other Muslims and those involved in witchcraft are turning to Christ by the hundreds through ministries like Youth With a Mission and Equipping the Persecuted, who offer deep discipleship and healing for those affected by trauma. A large number of these converts have returned to areas of great darkness as missionaries to Islamic and tribal extremists. (See a movie from YWAM about this.)

UZBEKISTAN, KAZAKHSTAN and across the other Stan countries of CENTRAL ASIA: Muslims are meeting Jesus in stunning dreams and miraculous healings. Now, they are sharing with other Muslims what Christ has done for them and bringing them into His kingdom. (Thomas, CBN, August 1, 2025)

MOLDOVA: Despite Russia’s heavy hand in Transnistria, one church is seeing hundreds of people crowding into their worship services. Many of them are hearing the gospel for the very first time, and signs, wonders and miracles are not uncommon. (Thomas, CBN, November 29, 2025)

INDIA: A tremendous church planting movement is happening throughout the nation, as Christians travel from village to village sharing the gospel with Hindus, praying for the sick and seeing God answer in miraculous ways.

UNITED KINGDOM: Bible sales hit a record high last year amid signs of revival, as young people are flocking to churches seeking salvation, healing, freedom and deliverance. (Talia Wise, CBN, January 14, 2026)

ETHIOPIA: Various reports tell of gatherings of as many as 30,000 Christians and seekers, even despite curfews due to ongoing unrest, with miracles, signs and wonders happening.

Other mass gatherings of seekers and believers have been reported in HOLLAND, UKRAINE, THAILAND, SOUTH KOREA, ITALY, NETHERLANDS, CANADA, BELGIUM, NICARAGUA, the USA and FRANCE.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask You to move all the more. Meet every lost person in their dreams to show them the way to salvation. Lead them to sites on the internet or across social media where they will find You. Guide them to loving Christians and churches. Give them a hunger for Truth that drives them to seek You until they find You. Empower Your church with love, faith and deep knowledge and understanding of Your Word. Make us bold to stand for You, even in the midst of persecution, to love our persecutors and to share Christ with those who so desperately need You. Make us lights in the midst of this present darkness, and bring forth revival all across these nations and the entire world. Make the way where there seems to be no way for every heart to hear Your good news such that they can easily understand it and be saved. As we pray right now, Lord, show each one of us the part You want us to play in leading the lost to You. Move like never before. Answer every prayer of faith in powerful ways that all who see will know only You could do that. Heal the sick, the blind, the lame. Break the chains of addictions, strongholds and demons. Set the captives free. Show Yourself strong in the eyes of all the world. May every knee bow and every tongue confess that You alone are God. For every Christian who is persecuted, bring 1,000 lost people to faith in Christ. For every church that is closed or burned, plant 1,000 more. Make the way for the Word to be translated into every language and made available to every person in a way they can easily understand. And bring forth Your kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
