Today’s prayer is from Romans 8:28:
Lord, this past year has been hard for many of us, but right now, we just want to pause and thank You for the good things You have brought out of our trials. For the ways You have transformed our hearts. For the unexpected blessings. For the joy of Your presence. For the adventure of crawling up onto Your shoulders so You could carry us through. For Your constant love. And for the ways You have used even terrible circumstances to open up opportunities to pray together as one, and to share Your love with the world. We don’t know what 2026 will hold, but right now, we just want to surrender this year into Your hands and say that we trust You. That our hope is not in everything going our way, but in the God Who is Sovereign and loving, the One who brings good out of what the enemy means for evil. Help us look to You throughout the year, and join You in what You’re doing. In Your name. Amen.
