Spiraling inflation, with a devaluation in currency of more than 40% in recent months, has made the purchase of everyday items nearly impossible for people in Iran to afford. Political and religious oppression, extreme drought, corruption, clashes with Israel, and other unrest have only added to the boiling pot, as scores of oppressed citizens have risen up in protest against the terrorist state, daring to hope for freedom.
At least 650 have died, but estimates say perhaps as many as 6,000, while perhaps tens of thousands have been arrested during anti-regime protests across 185 cities in all 31 provinces of Iran over the past couple of weeks; but with the terrorist state blocking internet access, phones and other communication avenues, news is uncertain.
- Pray for protection over the innocent, for the quick release of political prisoners, and for thousands forced to serve terrorism to now repent and serve the One True God of Love and Freedom.
- Pray for angels in the midst of battle, fighting for the peoples of Iran to know the Living God.
- Pray terrorism will fall and God will raise up leaders who care for the peoples of Iran to rule the nation with love, integrity, wisdom from God, truth and freedom.
- Pray Christians will rise up as light in the darkness during this time of unrest, following the Spirit’s lead and pointing the lost to true salvation and freedom.
- Pray every heart will hunger for Truth, bravely seek Christ, experience Him in powerful ways and be saved. Pray lives will be so transformed by His love, everyone around them will notice and also hunger for Jesus.
- Pray the veil will be lifted from every Islamic extremist in power or fighting for the terrorist regime, and they will see Christ as He truly is. Pray God will meet them in dreams and visions to point the way to salvation, and they will bravely lay down their false religion of violence, terrorism and murder, repent and turn to the One who is Life, the Truth who sets them free.
