Looking Back, Up and Forward

As this year ends and the new one begins, take some time with the Lord to

  1. Look BACK at 2025 to declare all the beautiful things you saw God do;
  2. Look UP to thank Him and to bless this past year, even through the hard things; and
  3. Look forward to 2026, asking the Lord what He wants to do this next year and surrendering it to Him.

Please share in the comments what God lays on your heart as you spend time with Him, so we can encourage one another.

For all we know, 2026 may see all the more trying trials, but in Christ there is rest, peace, and joy. He did not come to make us comfortable, but to free us.

Lord, please bring forth Your will in my life this coming year. I surrender it to You. Teach me how to know You more. Open my ears to hear Your voice. Show me what You want to do in me and through me. And use me for Your glory. I want to be completely Yours. And I want to be a part of what You’re doing in others’ lives, as well this coming year. Show me the things within me that keep me from more of You. Reveal to me Your purposes, and empower me to walk out in them. In Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
