The first three weeks of the Christmas season have seen an upscale in Islamic terrorism against both Christians and Jews. As you pray through these headlines,
- Thank God for the ways you can see His protection and provision.
- Pray for His love, peace, healing, provision and comfort for Christians who are mourning, traumatized, in danger or injured.
- Intercede for their Islamic persecutors and all others in these countries who are lost without a Savior, that God will give them a hunger for Him so strong this Christmas, they will seek Truth with all their hearts and find Him.
- Pray the Lord will be a Shield around every Christian in each of these countries, guarding them from harm and shining His light and love through them to this lost and dying world.
A train hit a missionary family serving with BIMI (Baptist International Missions, Inc.) in UGANDA Friday, killing Savanah Gardner and critically injuring her husband Matt. Their sons Jedidiah, 4, and Mason, 1, were not injured.
Due to increased Islamic terrorist attacks against Christians in NIGERIA, many churches are choosing to meet in secret, only revealing times and locations to members last-minute.
No casualties were reported when a mob of masked pro-Palestinians terrorized a Christmas market in Brussels BELGIUM.
Other Islamic terrorist plots to attack Christmas markets in POLAND and GERMANY were foiled by authorities.
Nativity scenes were vandalized in several countries, and a Christian cemetery in northern IRAQ was desecrated by Kurdish Muslims.
Islamic crowds surrounded St. Martin’s Cathedral in Utrecht, NETHERLANDS, shouting “Allah Akbar.”
The UGANDA military abducted and detained a Catholic priest and youth chaplain, Deusdedit Ssekabira.
In PAKISTAN, Pastor Kamran Salamat, a father of three who survived an Islamic attack in September continued to serve God despite his injuries. But on December 5, another terrorist shot and killed him in front of his daughter.
A Muslim immigrant screaming, “Allahu Akbar,” stabbed 34-year-old Catholic nun, Sister Marija Tatjana Zrno, outside her convent in Zagreb, CROATIA.
At a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the Christian neighborhood of Dweilia, Damascus,SYRIA, Muslims displaying ISIS symbols and yelled threats, as Christian families fled. Only six months prior, Islamic terrorists bombed the Mar Elyas Greek Orthodox Church in the same neighborhood, killing 25 and wounding 63.
Young Islamists from Molompor village, Minahasa, INDONESIA stoned Silo Watuliney Christian Evangelical Church in Watuliney village, causing dangerous tension between the two villages.
On December 10, Muslim Muhammad Uzair Riaz Dogar raped the six-year-old daughter of Christian neighbor Salem Masih in Jaranwala, Punjab province, PAKISTAN. Her condition was so severe, police arrested Muhammad, who had previously raped another Christian girl in the neighborhood. Both families were forced to flee and hide, due to threats from Muhammad’s family, but Salem is standing firm, refusing to back down from the police complaint he filed.
A Christian doctor, Yagoub Jibril Glademea from SUDAN, who had been working in SAUDI ARABIA, returned home for Christmas, only to be detained and jailed for several days by Muslims in the Sudanese Army because of his faith.
