The business next door began parking their vehicles in front of our place instead of theirs. When we asked them why, they said “Because when we park them at ours, they get stolen, but when we park them at yours, they don’t.”
The spiritual battle is real and what we pray matters.
Let’s pray today for our families, cities, country, and the world. Here’s a starter:
Lord, we ask You now for Your angel armies to flood our homes and to stand guard around us. Protect us from harm and fight for our families. Fill every room in our homes so full of Your presence and Your glory that whenever anyone enters, they feel Your touch and are drawn to You. Change our hearts. Tear down every idol. Teach us how to love like You love, to see with Your eyes, to join together with You in what You’re doing in our homes, neighborhoods and country. Replace our thoughts with Your thoughts, our ways with Your ways. Fill our hearts so full of You that when we are hard-pressed, LOVE is what comes out. Show us how to stand strong in Your mighty power, fully armored. Ephesians 6:10-20. Overcome every enemy scheme against us and our families and nation. Be a Shield around us, protecting us from Satan’s purposes and leading us into Yours. Watch over our children, their dreams, their interactions at school and on the internet and with others who seek to do them harm. Guard their hearts as precious gardens where only Your Truth is planted and allowed to grow, and where every choking lie-weed from the enemy is destroyed before landing or taking root. Raise up an army of worshippers, prayer warriors and Jesus lovers in this generation, Lord, who will sweep across the nation and the world with Your good news, calling all peoples unto Yourself, rescuing the lambs from the wolves, and showing love in such loud ways, millions are drawn to Your light like moths to a flame. Open up the way for freedom and a Great Awakening such as never before in our homes, in our churches, in our cities, in our nation and in other hearts and nations all across the world….
