What trials have you been through this year? And what has God shown you in the midst of them? How will He pull you through the trials yet to come?
I have allowed these trials because there are ways I am pursuing you. I am not hidden. I’m right here with you. Always have been. Always will be. Even so, the barriers you’ve allowed between us are great. Now, you must seek Me in earnest to find Me. Jeremiah 29:13. There are things you do not yet understand and ways you will need to know Me that, without this trial, you will not press into. Do you want to walk through this trial boldly, with deep faith, high love, and wide joy? Then draw near. James 4:8.
Lord, thank You because You are the “God Who Arms Me with Strength and Keeps My Way Secure.” Psalm 18:32. You know where You’re taking me, and Your plans are good, for You are good. I know that You love me and You are for me. You have shown me that again and again in Your Word and in my life. When the path ahead is thick with trials and I don’t have the strength to overcome, carry me, Lord. That’s the God You are. You carry me. You are the One I want to surrender to.
Lord, show us the lies we have believed that disagree with what Your Word says. Change our minds to be Yours. Show us each of our trials from Your viewpoint, and use us to shine Your light to others, even when it’s not easy. Make us patient and strong to stand up under under trials and temptations, to stand the test and be approved, to receive the victor’s crown of life You promise to those who love You. For all this life has only every always been for Your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
