Super Typhoon Ragasa Rages Across Six Nations

Super Typhoon Ragasa caused three deaths in the PHILIPPINES before brushing TAIWAN, where it killed 14 and left 22 still missing. From there it moved on to HONG KONG and southern CHINA on its path to VIETNAM, LAOS and northern THAILAND.

On Ragasa’s tail, Tropical Storm Bualoi (Opong) is expected to hit Bicol in the Philippines tomorrow and Vietnam Monday. 

Several of these nations have already suffered from repeated storms and flooding in July and August. Let’s pray that in the midst of such trials, the gospel will reach the lost and many will be saved.

Lord, please rescue those who are missing, comfort those dealing with great loss, heal those who are wounded, rescue those who are trapped, and provide for those in need. Bring Christians to them to share with them the good news of Your salvation and to show them Your love. Make a way for every injured and grieving person to hear the gospel in a way they can easily understand, and give them such a hunger for You, they will surrender to Your love and be saved. Bring forth Your Kingdom in every heart, home, city and nation. Yes, Lord, awaken the whole Earth to Your salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
