Here at the Prayer Wall, we’ve been praying for the lives of those yet unborn. Praise God, great strides have been made this year in protecting these children. Let’s keep praying!
Father God, today we ask You for those all throughout the world who are yet unborn. Hold them in the palm of Your hand and cover them as a Shield, sealing them for Love. Shape them perfectly by Your mighty perfect hand, every cell, every organ wonderfully and beautifully made. Speak tenderly to them even now, showing them who You are and setting them apart for Your purposes. Protect both them and their mothers from harm. If their mothers are in danger, get them to safety now, Lord. If addicted to drugs, hold those substances at bay and give them courage to find help, to not give in to dangerous cravings, to seek You and find You so You will set them free from those addictions. If abused, shield them and make a way for their escape. If lonely, step into the room where they are right now and let them feel You near, speaking to them and telling them to not be afraid, that You have a purpose for this new life and for their own, that You love them. Pursue each mother and father with Your relentless mercy and grace. Meet them in their dreams. Get up in their face. Invade their space. Break the chains that bind them to satan’s purposes, and set them free to seek You with all their heart and find You. Lift the veil from their eyes so they will see You as You truly are, and draw them to Yourself so powerfully they will not be able to resist Your lovingkindness. Place Christians in their path to share the gospel with them and love them into Your arms. Open wide the doors of churches to invite them in and offer them a place where they can feel loved, accepted, completed because You are there and You are our Home. Prepare for these precious unborn children a place of safety, a loving home where they will grow up to know You and love you. Set them apart as anointed worshippers, leaders, influencers, passionate lovers of Christ, speakers of truth, evangelists, teachers, loving mothers and fathers who will follow You all the days of their lives and lead many into Your arms. Keep their minds and hearts pure, O Lord. Set their feet on Your narrow road, and build up the walls on either side so they will not step astray. Even now, prepare the way for Your constant protection, guidance and peace. Whatever plans the enemy has for them, block those. Stand in the way. Turn every malicious attack back on the enemy’s head so that he falls beneath his own blows. Shield the minds and hearts of these Your precious children, and set them apart for salvation, for a godly life, for a spouse who loves You, for families filled with faith, hope, love, truth and peace. Make these yet unborn grow up so enamored with You, so undistracted, so captivated by Your glory they will not look away, but will fix their eyes on the prize and run with all their hearts to win the race. Hebrews 10:1-3. We ask You for a chosen generation, chosen to bear Your light, to push back the darkness, to point the way to salvation, to usher in an era of awakening. Grow this generation into missionaries who present to the lost the life-giving choice of being adopted by the King of Kings. Make the years ahead an era of every people group being reached with the gospel, of Your truth spoken to every heart in a way they can easily understand, of billions choosing life over death, love over hatred, faith over fear, eternal life. Awaken every new life to oneness with You.
