Three More Hostages Recovered

On Saturday, the IDF recovered the bodies of three Israelis murdered by Hamas on October 7, 2023, and taken to Gaza.

German-Israeli soldier and tank commander Shay Levinson, 19, died in combat during the Hamas attack.

Ofra Keidar, 71, from the kibbutz Be’eri, was a wife and mother of three. Her husband, Shmuel “Sami” Keidar was also killed in Hamas’ attack.

Yonatan Samerano, 21, a DJ from Tel Aviv, was killed by Hamas militants as he fled the Nova music festival. His family claims an employee of the United Nations’ main agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, helped abduct his body.

Nearly 56,000 Palestinians have died since the war began, with more than 130,000 wounded. Among Israelis, over 1,700 have died, with nearly 9,000 injured, most of those during the initial Hamas attack which began the war.

Both Israel and Gaza are more than 97% unreached with the gospel of Christ, which means the majority of those who died on both sides never heard the good news that brings salvation.

Thank You, Lord, that these families can have a sense of closure. Please comfort them as they mourn, and open their hearts wide to know You. Give them a longing for the love and peace only found in Christ. Please shield the remaining hostages who are still alive and keep them from harm. Visit terrorists in their dreams, fill them with fear of the Lord, and show them the way of salvation. Bring Christians to homeless Gazans to share Your love and care for their needs. Multiply food supplies, heal the wounded, make Your Word available to all in a way they can easily understand, and bring forth a great movement of Your Spirit, with thousands turning from the violence and fear of Islam to the love and grace of Christ.
