We have been praying here at PrayerWall.pw for awakening in the United Kingdom, as the number of Christians had so drastically reduced, despite a growth among those of Chinese ethnicity.
In addition, several believers have been arrested for silently praying near abortion clinics. One of those, Army veteran Adam Smith-Connor, convicted last October of a “thought” crime, was ordered to pay £9,000 (almost $12,000) in prosecution costs. He has appealed the conviction, with a hearing set for July 28.
Yet, in the midst of such accounts, it appears a “quiet” revival has now begun.
Or is it a full-on awakening?
A family that prayerwalks around the world (Pray on Location) reports these findings in the UK:
- Young people gathering in spontaneous worship across campuses and cities.
- Unscripted prayer meetings breaking out in homes, cafes, and schools.
- Baptisms in rivers and oceans, often unplanned, led by peer invitation.
- Worship nights in barns, backyards, and small churches going viral.
- Dreams and visions drawing people to Christ in places with little gospel access.
- Social media used to share testimonies and gospel messages, reaching millions.
- Prodigals returning—many confessing encounters with God in private moments.
- Unity across denominations—collaborations for prayer, outreach, and mission.
- Hunger for Scripture—Bible sales and discipleship groups growing quietly.
- Miraculous healings and deliverance happening without spotlight or stage.
- Marketplace ministries forming organically—faith at work is rising.
- Muslims coming to Jesus in massive numbers.
Last year, 70,000 people gathered in Trafalgar Square for a massive gospel event, where thousands surrendered their lives to Christ, and many in the crowd experienced miraculous healings and deliverance.
On June 7 this year, thousands of Christians gathered at Parliament Square in Westminster, London, led by Daniel Chand, founder of Walking Like Jesus Ministries. “God’s not finished with the United Kingdom!” WLJM wrote on Instagram. “God is hearing from heaven and healing our land. He’s shaking everything that needs to be shaken and He’s pouring out his Spirit!”
Not only that, but praise filled the streets of Paris, France, at the end of May last year, as more than 25,000 people gathered. And in the Netherlands, more than 63,000 people worshipped together at the 54th annual Opwekking Pentecost Conference, with an additional 700,000 joining online Pentecost Sunday.
“Revival has truly started in Europe in many places with hungry and thirsty people ready to arise boldly to preach again clearly Jesus. It’s small but it’s already historic and glorious like here in London,” Jean-Luc Trachsel Ministries wrote on Instagram. “Now in Europe, in the midst of darkness, war, oppositions and even persecution, the glory of God is arising with a massive move of The Holy Spirit. … London shall be saved. The UK and Europe shall be saved.”

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask You to move all the more. Bring the prodigals home and the lost to faith in You. Thank You for the courage of believers like Adam. Please bring forth the verdict You. Shine Your love so clearly through him that many lost will be drawn to You.
Father God, we ask You for a great awakening in the UK and all of Europe, for the holes in every heart to scream for more than the emptiness they’ve been living for. As darkness seeks to consume this formerly Christian nation, we beseech You to march in Your armies of Light and win the fight against secularism and false religion. Rise up, O God, and show Yourself strong on behalf of the lost and dying multitudes. So many have heard about You, but their minds are clouded by strongholds and addictions. Break them free from their chains, Father. Pursue them with Your love. Overcome their strongholds. Lift the veil from their eyes so they can see You as You truly are. Visit them in their dreams. Speak with them throughout the day. Get up in their face. Invade their space. And draw them into Your arms opened wide. Bring about a great movement of Your Spirit in the UK and all across Europe and beyond, drawing all people to Yourself.
Revive churches, awakening them to the joy of their salvation and empowering them to preach Your gospel to the lost with passion and fervor, to love You and others with all their hearts, to not just know about the Bible but to daily live its truth. Raise up young people willing to brave ridicule and opposition to shine Your light in the darkness of others’ hearts, so those who see their passion and joy will long for such meaning in life and turn to You as their answer. For all the problems of this world will never be solved by secular means, but only by the power, love and grace of the Creator who created us for the purpose of relationship with Him. Apart from You, O God, we are nothing. Make that nothingness shout so loudly, millions will hungrily seek You with all their hearts and find You. Assign Your churches ministries to shine Your love in their communities like never before. As they step out in obedience, flow through them with such a display of Your love and power that miracles become commonplace wherever Your servants walk. Let Muslims, Hindus, Jews, cult leaders, Satanists, atheists and all unbelievers alike witness Your power, love and truth so magnificently none will be able to resist Your call to salvation. In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
