Pakistani Christian Girl Kidnapped. Again.

Muskan Salman, the 15-year-old Christian girl we prayed for last year, who managed to escape from the Muslim man that abducted her, has once again been kidnapped by the same man. (March 3, Christian Daily International-Morning Star News)

A Christian attorney, Luke Victor, helped Muskan and her family flee to a safe house in Karachi, but they returned to their hometown recently for a funeral. Muskan’s parents left her and a ten-year-old cousin alone in their home while they attended the funeral. Arsalan Ali and an accomplice broke in and took Muskan away at gunpoint.

Her father, Salman Masih, tried to register the case with the police, but they refused. Arsalan, who forced Muskan to convert to Islam and marry him, claims she is legally his wife, even though she is underaged.

Pakistan is more than 96 percent Muslim and presently ranks the eighth most dangerous country for Christians on Open Doors’ World Watchlist. Christian women and girls are at great risk of kidnapping, rape, forced marriage and forced conversion to Islam.

Lord, please have mercy. Rescue Muskan, and bring Arsalan to justice, but most of all to salvation. Block him from harming her. Force him to let her go, and even to return her to her home. Invade his dreams with such vivid scenes of Jesus calling him, he will drop his false religion, repent of his horrific crimes and follow You. Light the fire under police to verify her birthdate and prosecute Arsalan for marrying a minor, as well as for abduction, terrorism, forced marriage and rape. Grip every Muslim around him with such hatred for evil, they will turn him in to the police, raid the location where he is holding Muskan, seek You with all their hearts and find You. Heal Muskan’s heart, mind and body, and even today, provide the way for her escape. Give Salman, Luke and others wisdom to know what to do to bring her home. Connect them with officials sympathetic to their cause. Tear down every wall. Hear our prayers, and set Muskan free. Shield every Christian woman and girl in Pakistan. Surround them with Your angels and keep them from abduction and harm. Ground every Pakistani Christian in truth, faith and love. Provide for all their needs. Heal all their sicknesses. Show Yourself strong on behalf of those who love You. When they pray, answer them, Lord. Even with miracles. Draw the lost around them to You like moths to a flame. Use Christian families to shine Your light so brightly, everyone will see the fruit of Your Spirit in them (Galatians 5:22-23) and know You are the One they’ve been longing for. Bring about a great movement of Your Spirit in Pakistan, with millions turning to faith in Christ. Yes, pour out Your love on every household and awaken every Muslim in every one of the 844 unreached people groups to You.
