This week, we remember Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), His last supper with His disciples the night He was betrayed (Maundy Thursday tomorrow), His death on the cross for our sins (Friday) and His resurrection three days later (Resurrection Sunday).
As you watch the videos of this year’s Palm Sunday in dark places in the world, pray for protection over believers in these countries, for steadfast faith, deep knowledge and understanding of the Word of God, empowering by the Spirit to love as Christ first loved us, and boldness to share the Gospel with the lost. Pray every heart in these nations will awaken to Christ’s love and choose salvation.

Lord, shine brightly through Christians in Israel, Jordan, Iraq, India and all nations. Kindle a fire in the heart of every believer to love You passionately and share the Gospel boldly. Protect us from harm and persecution. Provide for our needs so abundantly we will give abundantly to unbelievers around us who are in need and share Your love in other ways they can easily receive. Anoint us to understand, speak and LIVE Your Word, eliminating the darkness with the fire of Your love. Give our lost neighbors, relatives, friends and even enemies such a hunger for Truth they will drop whatever they’re holding onto that isn’t Christ, surrender to You and be saved. In Your name, Jesus. Amen.
