Let’s pray for families who are mourning and enduring much hardship, that they will encounter Christ in powerful ways and be saved:

MYANMAR: An ethnic armed group in Karen State handed THAILAND more than 260 people from 20 nationalities working as scammers through telecom fraud centers along the border. Lured by promises of high salaries or told they will be working a different job in Thailand, foreigners are often forced into Myanmar to conduct love scams, money laundering, illegal gambling and other fraud. Those who wish to leave may face torture, and their families high ransoms, to secure their release. With the exception of two from BRAZIL, all of the more than 260 are from ASIA and AFRICA, including nearly 140 from ETHIOPIA.

GERMANY: At least 39 were injured Thursday, and a mother and her two-year-old daughter have now died, after an Islamic extremist from AFGHANISTAN, Farhad Nouri, drove his car into a crowd during a labor union demonstration in Munich.

TAIWAN: Four people, including two from MACAU, died and 26 were injured Thursday in a gas explosion at a department store in Taichung.

AUSTRALIA: Category 5 Cyclone Zelia hit the Pilbara coast of western Australia yesterday.

Loving Father, thank You for rescuing these 250 from Myanmar. Guide the Thai government now as they determine which of these were forced into scam work and deliver them home safely to their families. For each of these tragedies above, we ask for Your mercy. Protect and rescue those in danger, heal those who are injured, comfort those who mourn, provide for those in need, and rebuild the lives and homes of those who have lost so much. Do all these things in such a way that they will know You are the One who did that. When they cry out to You, answer them. Perform signs and wonders, miraculous healings, rescues and provision. Protect the children, heal hurting hearts and provide safe shelter, electricity, food and water for those without. Place within every soul a deep thirst for You. Remove every barrier that has kept them from salvation and give them courage to seek You and find You. Bring loving Christians to the lost to share Your Good News. For Christians who are homeless now or who have lost loved ones, please carry them through this difficult time like only You can. Renew their strength and empower them to encourage others around them who are also hurting, offering them hope, a safe shoulder to cry on, and the way to salvation. Bless Christians so abundantly they will also abundantly bless others in need, showing how real Your love is. Bring forth a mighty movement of Your Spirit all across each of these countries and beyond, leading thousands to faith in You. Open the eyes of the spiritually blind to see You as You truly are, and awaken every heart to Your truth and grace. We especially ask this now for Farhad, while he is in jail. Meet him in his dreams, bring Christians to him to share the gospel, lift the veil from his eyes so he can see You as You truly are, and save him. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
