Pray for True Wisdom

Let’s pray for each government leader, for protection and true wisdom that overrides personal agendas and brings forth God’s purposes:

  • U.S. President Donald Trump as he makes daily decisions that affect millions of people both in the U.S. and abroad
  • Those who advise him
  • Every Senator, as they hold Cabinet hearings and make decisions
  • Cabinet members already confirmed
  • Nominees not yet confirmed, as they answer questions during Cabinet hearings
  • Others tasked with cleaning up, dismantling and/or reorganizing various departments

Let’s pray also for true wisdom for every American, and a hunger for the One this life is truly for. As protests arise, pray each heart will lay down what they clamor for and seek Truth instead. Pray chains will break, and true freedom and true hope will arise in their place. Pray for truth over lies, what is right and good over politics and personal agendas, Life over death, Light over darkness.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.

1 Timothy 2:1-3 ESV

The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
