Fall of the Syria’s Assad Regime

With Russia, Iran and Hezbollah distracted by their own devastating wars with tremendous losses, the brutal Bashar Assad regime they had backed in Syria easily fell to rebel forces in just a few days, ending 50 years of rule by the Assad family and freeing prisoners from jail.

But Syria could be trading one terrorist regime for another. Let’s pray God will intervene and truly provide freedom for Syrians. Read more here:

Lord, we ask You for Your mercy on Syria. Raise up a leader who will love all the people groups and open up freedom of religion and in all other aspects of life. Provide the way for displaced families who fled violence and persecution to at last find safety in their hometowns and country. Bring forth a Great Awakening to You all across Syria and beyond its borders. Lift the veil from the eyes of the lost so they will see You as You truly are. Show Yourself strong on behalf of the persecuted and abandoned. Protect the innocent. Shield those who seek You or already believe in You. Perform signs and wonders, miracles and healings as powerful demonstrations of Your love, turning all eyes to You. Get up in the face of Abu Mohammed al-Golani, Bashar Assad and every terrorist. Show them who You are. Confront them with Truth, just as You did Paul on the road to Damascus. Bring them to their knees before You in fear of the Lord, so they repent and choose You as Savior. Give Christians courage and Your Spirit’s empowering to share Your Good News with those who are hungry for You in a way they can easily understand, and increase that hunger all throughout the nation and among refugees in other nations, drawing millions of lost Syrians to find true refuge in the arms of their One True King and Savior. Take what the enemy has meant for evil and turn it around into a mighty movement of Muslims coming to faith in Christ. Pour out Your love over every Syrian heart in powerful ways, and awaken them to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
