Let’s take a moment to thank Christ today for everything He has done for us, and recommit our lives and families to love Him, serve Him and bring Him glory the rest of our days here on earth. In the midst of so much darkness, let’s join together as one to shine His light.
Thank You, Lord, for redeeming us and calling us Your own. Amidst so much darkness, hatred and death in the world, we thank You for Your LIGHT, LOVE and LIFE that conquers evil. Were we to spend our whole lives seeking to pay You back for Your gift of salvation given so freely to us, it would never be enough. Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy, love and goodness poured out on us, even when we don’t deserve it. You humbled Yourself, stepping down from the highest place in Heaven to take human form, so You could show us what Love is like. You so willingly died for us there on that cross, Jesus, taking upon Yourself the punishment that should have been ours, and then bestowing upon us the title of sons and daughters of the Most High. We can never thank You enough. But today we bow our hearts before You in humble surrender to our Humble King. Please, Lord, do with us as You will. Fill us with Your love and mercy, bubbling out from within as a never-ending fountain that reaches everyone around us, inviting them into You. Make us humble and loving like You, O Lord. May You be honored this day and every day through our lives forevermore. We ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.
