UKRAINE-RUSSIA: Russia may send 100,000 North Korean troops into battle, now that 1,000 days has passed since Russia invaded Ukraine. Yesterday, Ukraine used US missiles to strike targets in Russia. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X, “Ukraine deserves to make the next year the year of peace.”
CHINA: A car drove into a crowd outside a primary school in Hunan province, injuring both children and adults, the latest in a string of mass violence.
HAITI: In a recent attack on Pétionville, an upscale community in Port-au-Prince, residents fought alongside national police against a gang led by a former police officer called Barbecue. An estimated more than 28 gang members died and police seized hundreds of munitions.
Lord, please have mercy on these nations and the people affected by so much violence. heal those who are wounded. Comfort those who have lost loved ones. Show them Your love in powerful ways. Make a way for Your good news to reach the lost in a way they can easily understand and receive. Open the doors wide for Christian aid workers to come in bringing food, medical supplies, counselors, doctors and others to help families through each crisis. We speak LIFE over the children, Lord, in Your precious name. PEACE over these countries. And most of all, SALVATION for the many dying daily without the knowledge of Christ. Make the way for every person all throughout these devastated lands to hear the gospel and receive You as Savior. Use Christians in their midst to shine Your love and peace, bringing hope and showing mercy. May Your Kingdom come to them soon, Lord, before it’s too late. Awaken this world to Your love. Draw every person up into Your arms and save them.
