Spain Rain Again, Typhoon #5 for Philippines, Punjab and Delhi Choking on Air

Thousands have evacuated their homes in SPAIN, due to new storms that dropped a month’s worth of rainfall in one hour, causing flash floods in the already hard-hit Valencia.

Super Typhoon Usagi (locally called “Ofel”), the fifth severe storm to hit the PHILIPPINES in three weeks, slammed into the islands yesterday. About 24,000 people evacuated. At least 160 have already died in the storm series.

Pollution in PAKISTAN has hit such high levels, especially in Punjab, that hospitals are receiving as many as 70,000 patients a day and schools have closed. Delhi, INDIA also struggles under smog cover.

After several weeks of rain and floods in COSTA RICA, two have died, two are missing and thousands have been displaced. In neighboring PANAMA, days of flash floods have affected more than 30,000 people and damaged 5,435 homes.

RUSSIA and NORTH KOREA have joined forces to send 50,000 troops against UKRAINE in Kursk.

Lord, please have mercy on these nations and the people affected by so much disaster and violence. Rescue and heal those in harm’s way. Comfort those who have lost homes and loved ones. Show them Your love in powerful ways. Make a way for Your good news to reach the lost in a way they can easily understand and receive. Open the doors wide for Christian aid workers to come in bringing food, medical supplies, counselors, doctors and others to help families through each crisis. We speak LIFE over the children, Lord, in Your precious name. PEACE over these countries. And most of all, SALVATION for the many dying daily without the knowledge of Christ. Make the way for every person all throughout these devastated lands to hear the gospel and receive You as Savior. Use Christians in their midst to shine Your love and peace, bringing hope and showing mercy. May Your Kingdom come to them soon, Lord, before it’s too late. Awaken this world to Your love. Draw every person up into Your arms and save them.
