With the election of a new President, some are angry, while others have hope. Let’s cover in prayer all of our leaders and every heart in this nation and across the world.
Lord, thank You for Your Sovereignty, that You love us and You have a plan. As wars rage across the world and emotions run high within our nation, we ask You, please, to give our government wisdom in every decision and interaction. Stop the wars, the violence, the terrorism, the corruption and deceit. Wherever evildoers plot, step in the way and cast down every violent/deceitful plan. Be a Shield around the President, other leaders and our citizens, protecting us from harm. Bring to light corrupt plans before they are carried out, and intervene, breaking it all apart until nothing works and every evil plot backfires on those who planned it. Cover every home, person, property and space of the USA with Your peace. March Your angel armies throughout this nation to cast down wrong and bring forth right. Pour out Your love over every heart, awakening them at night to encounter You in powerful ways, and moving in their circumstances such that they cannot avoid Your truth. Lift the veil from our eyes so we will see You as You truly are and choose You as Savior. Open the way for a Great Awakening in this nation, with every heart turning to You. Show Yourself strong on behalf of the innocent. Fight for those who have been wronged. Turn back evil and bring forth good. Rebuild our schools, our cities, our families, our states, our law enforcement, our courts, our media, our security, our churches, our minds and hearts, and even Hollywood with Truth and Love. Distract us with Your beauty in such powerful ways we lay down all our former agendas to make You our one pure and holy passion. May we seek You with all our hearts and find You at last, right here where You’ve always been. Make every heart encounter Your grace in such abundant measures we cannot look away, but surrender at last to Your love and salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
