We ask You, Lord, for Your will to be done in the 2024 election. Give wisdom to every voter and guide the results the way You desire. Expose and block any plan for fraud or other evil intent before it happens. We pray for each person running for office, that the You will lift the veil from their eyes so they will see You as You truly are. Set them free from all that binds them to enemy purposes, and show them You are the only way to true peace, joy, hope, freedom and rebuilding. Give the emerging President, Senators, Representatives, Governors and all those who aid in those offices wisdom from You in all aspects.
And open the way, Lord, for a Great Awakening to You in the heart of every person in this country. Raise up Your church as a glorious bride, beautiful, flowing in love, grace, kindness and humility; helping those who are hurting; offering life in the midst of death and chaos; and love in the face of violence. Bring Christians who love You with all their heart into the path of those who are hungry for You. Let Your love be so loud through Your servants that people will be drawn to You like moths to a flame. Meet every criminal in such powerful ways they surrender their lives to You, no longer living in the fear, violence, abuse, and addictions that have controlled them, but laying their lives down at the feet of Love, and letting You transform them and set them free. For those who have hardened their hearts against You, who have run after riches and fame as their gods, Father, break their hearts for what breaks Yours. Show them the emptiness of their earthly pursuits as compared to the eternal glory waiting for them if they would but turn to You and be saved. For the poor who are struggling to make ends meet, the homeless, the outcasts, the hurting, the used and abused, the addicts, the children left on their own, the torn up marriages and families, … be Father to each of them. Rescue them from whatever pit they’re in, draw them up into Your loving arms, heal their wounds, and set them free to know You and choose You as their Protector and Savior for life. Turn their hearts around by Your loving touch. Transform them, save them, and use them for Your glory to help many other hurting people into Your arms. Wash through our whole country like a mighty flood, setting wrongs to right and gathering the lost up into Your arms to be saved. In Your name. Amen.
