USA: Hurricane Milton left at least 17 dead and millions without power in Florida Thursday. Many are still missing after Hurricane Helene, and some areas still have no water or electricity. Praise God, many churches and other Christian aid agencies are helping deliver provisions and rebuild homes. Let’s pray!
Lord, please help those in need, and do it in such a way that those who are lost will know it is You and at last believe. Fill Christians affected by the storms and floods with such joy the lost will see and know You are the One they’ve been searching for. Miraculously multiply the supplies and funds Christians need to minister to others, and anoint them as they share Your gospel, so many will come to faith in You and hundreds of new churches will be planted. Pour out Your love in such radiant measures, revival will break out and spread throughout the US and beyond.
HAITI: Members of the Taliban gang gunned down and burned Arcahaie village in Canaan just a week after Gran Grif gang members killed 115 villagers in Pont-Sondé.
PAKISTAN: About 40 gunmen killed at least 21 coal miners in Balochistan Friday.
SUDAN: Cholera cases in the midst of floods, war and famine have increased to nearly 21,300, and over 620 have died.
Let’s also continue to pray for those affected by these wars: UKRAINE and RUSSIA, MYANMAR, as well as ISRAEL, GAZA, LEBANON and beyond.
Lord, please awaken every heart in each of these countries and situations to Your love. So much danger, death and instability reminds us of humanity’s desperate need for You. Please rescue those in danger, comfort those who grieve, and speak to the hearts of those who are afraid or hurting. Touch each heart in such personal ways they will at last realize You are the One they long for. When they cry out to You, answer them, O Lord, in a way they will recognize it is You. Give the lost a hunger for peace, meaning, acceptance and love; and then satisfy them with Your felt presence. Bring Christians to them to show them Your love, care for their needs and share the good news of Your salvation. Bless Your people abundantly so they will also abundantly share with those in need around them. Bring Christian counselors, medical workers and other aid workers to those in need. And set the captives free, Lord. Lift the veil from the eyes of the lost so they will see You as You truly are and surrender their hearts to You as Savior. In the midst of every trial and tragedy, push back the enemy’s purposes, and bring forth Yours. Convince us of Your truth. Let us feel Your love like never before. And bring forth Your Kingdom in every heart, home, city and nation. Yes, Lord, awaken the whole Earth to Your salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
