Palestinian terrorists from the West Bank killed seven and wounded 16 at a Tel Aviv light rail station in Jaffa, Israel, on Tuesday. Both of the gunmen were shot by security forces and civilians who carried handguns. One, Muhammad Mask, 19, died and the other, Ahmed Himoni, 25, was severely injured. An Israeli reservist, Lev Kreitman, survivor of the October 7 Nova festival massacre, also used his gun against the assailants.
The event happed just minutes before Iran fired about 200 missiles at Israel.
Six of the victims were Revital Bronstein, 24, a comic book artist and programmer from Bat Yam; Ilia Nozadze, 42, a Georgian citizen; Shahar Goldman, 30, newly married from Lod; Inbar Segev Vigder, 33, married last year and mother to a nine-month-old; Nadia Sokolenco, 40; and Jonas Chrosis, 26, a Greek citizen studying architecture in Tel Aviv.
The attack was claimed by the terrorist group, Hamas, which orchestrated the kidnapping of 251 people during last year’s October 7 attack. To pray for those hostages and their families, visit our Israel-Gaza page:

Lord, please comfort the families of those who died, and heal those who are wounded. Bring Christians to them to comfort them and help them through this difficult time. Please heal the minds and hearts of those who survived the terrible attacks on October 7. Be a Shield around the hostages still held by Hamas. Keep them from harm and make the way for their safe and speedy rescue/escape. Meet every terrorist, every hostage, every Israeli, every Palestinian in their dreams and talk to them throughout the day. Lift the veil from their eyes so they will see Jesus as He truly is. Make the way for every person to hear and clearly understand Your plan for their salvation. Show them that You, Jesus, are the only Way. You are Life that extinguishes death, Love that chases out fear, Peace that overcomes chaos, Truth that conquers lies…. Overcome the darkness now with so much Light, Satan and all who serve him will flee. Set up Your throne in every heart. In the midst of so much terror, send every person running into Your arms. In Your name, Jesus. Amen.
