Thai School Bus Fire, Haiti Famine, Hezbollah War

Let’s pray through the headlines for every heart to be touched by Christ:

THAILAND: A school trip for elementary and junior high kids from Uthai Thani province turned to tragedy when their bus with 44 passengers caught fire yesterday. More than 20 students and teachers are feared dead. Thailand is 89% Buddhist and home to 77 people groups still unreached with the gospel.

Lord, please heal the hearts and minds of the children and teachers who survived. Release them from traumatic memories and comfort them with Your love. Please bring Christians to them to love them and their family members, to counsel them and to share with them Your good news. Awaken Thailand to You, O God. Give every person a deep hunger for You, and make a way for all the unreached to hear the gospel in a way they can easily understand. Break the chains that bind them to demons and idol worship. Draw them into loving churches grounded in truth.

HAITI: Out-of-control gang violence has plunged the Caribbean island into famine. About 6,000 people are starving, and 5.4 million face crisis levels of hunger or worse.

Lord, please make a way for the violence to stop, and for food, medicine, other provisions to reach the needy. Bless Christians so abundantly and protect them from harm. Multiply their supplies miraculously so they can help others. Use them to shine Your light in the darkness and counsel those who have faced much trauma. Open the hearts of the lost to turn to You.

LEBANON: After air strikes that killed top Hezbollah leaders, ISRAEL has now begun a ground operation. The US sent thousands of troops to the Middle East to deter any attacks by IRAN.

Lord, more than 1,000 people in Lebanon have already died in air strikes and some one million are displaced. Please protect the innocent and turn all hearts to Jesus. Give all those in authority wisdom in all decisions that are being made now. Meet all Muslims and Jews in their dreams, showing them Your plan for salvation. Lift the veil from their eyes so they will see You as You truly are, and give them courage to lay down their service to a god of hatred and choose the One who is Love.
