Four died and 17 were injured in a mass shooting by multiple gunmen in Birmingham, Alabama, USA late Saturday night.
Please heal the wounded and comfort mourners. Be near to those traumatized by this event, and bring Christians to aid in their healing and counseling. Give police wisdom to quickly find and apprehend the shooters. Break the chains that bind them and all other murderers to the evil one, and set them free to receive Your forgiveness and salvation. Please guide every heart into Your arms. Bring the gospel into their lives in such a vibrant way they break free from the demons that bind them, and choose Your way of love instead.
More than 100 have been killed or are missing in Sinaloa state, MEXICO, since rival factions of the cartel by that name began a wave of violence September 9.
Lord, we ask for the salvation of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, a trafficker and cartel leader recently arrested in the US. Bring Christians to him to share the good news. Visit him in his dreams. Talk to him throughout the day. Put a Bible in his hand and give him a hunger to read it. Do that for all the cartel members causing violence in Mexico now. Draw their hearts to You with such love and grace and fear of the Lord, they won’t be able to resist. Bring them to their knees in repentance. Be a Shield around every person in danger of cartel violence or trafficking. Protect them from harm and get them to safety. For those who have been abducted, open the way for their safe escape and hide them from those who pursue them. Stop the violence, Lord. Bring into power leaders who will do what it takes to stop the cartels and protect citizens. Comfort those who mourn and bring Christians to those who need healing from PTSD and other affects of terrorism.
More than 1,000 people have evacuated their homes in ITALY due to rising floodwaters, which have now killed at least 24 throughout Europe. Six have died in heavy rains, floods and landslides in the region of JAPAN still recovering from this year’s earthquake. In NIGERIA, people are now wading in water with crocodiles and snakes. Let’s continue praying for these countries and many others throughout the world suffering from floods (link below).

Let’s also pray for God’s hand in the upcoming elections in the USA, that voters will not be swayed by slanted news, but that every leader God has planned for our country will take office. Pray He will open the way for a great awakening, with thousands of hearts turning to Christ. Pray for peace in our nation, hope, and that Christians will rise up to love like never before.
