O Lord, please forgive us for all the ways we have wandered so far from You. Turn our hearts around now. Awaken every heart in this nation to You. Get up in our face. Invade our space. Give every heart such a hunger for You that we will seek You with all our hearts and find You. Awaken us to Your truth. Those things we have run after that don’t satisfy, make us weary of such. Those things we have hidden and lied to cover up, expose them now so clearly that we will stop all our pretenses, and fall on our faces before You in repentance. Have mercy on us, Lord, and free us. We need a miracle. We need You to transform our hearts like only You can. Too long have we given in to the enemy’s schemes and aided him in hurting others. It’s time now for us to surrender to You and be made whole again. Pursue us relentlessly, Lord, until we at last give in and let You heal us, and set us free. In Your name. Amen.
