Today, let’s pray for every Islamic extremist to encounter Christ in powerful ways.
Father God, all throughout the Middle East, Africa and beyond are Muslims who desperately need You. They want to serve the one true God, but their eyes have been blinded by the evil one. They don’t know You are the God of LOVE, not hatred. You are LIFE, not death. Open their eyes to see You as You truly are, to finally realize Jesus is the One they have been searching for all along. Connect them on the internet and in other ways with Christians who share the gospel in a way they can easily understand. Meet them in their dreams every single night. Relentlessly pursue them. Talk to them throughout the day. Awaken their hearts to long for something more than what they have known. Tear down every wall of anger, violence, prejudice, religion, hurt and hatred, and break the chains that bind them to the enemy’s purposes. Pierce through the cloud of darkness that hangs over their homes and fill their lands with Your glorious light. Make a way for every Islamist to hear Your good news. Break the chains that bind them to demonic powers. Give them a hunger so deep they will seek Truth and find Jesus, just like Mosab did. Give imams, and every Muslim, both young and old, courage to stand for what is right. Guide them to loving Christians who pray for lost Muslims and boldly share Your love despite the danger of persecution. Protect and abundantly bless every Christian in Muslim areas, especially where provisions are hard to get. Use them to bless those in need. Give them favor with their neighbors, with militia and other authorities. Give them courage and grace to forgive, even in the face of great evil done against them. As they stand for You and share the good news, lift the veil from the eyes of the lost so they see You as You truly are. Spark church planting movements all across Islamic strongholds. Press Your truth into the heart of every terrorist and make them surrender to You. Within the Hamas ranks, inside Hezbollah hearts, within every Houthi and every other terrorist on this planet, uncover the lies they have believed and mark them fiercely with Your truth. Don’t let even one more evil plan play out without You stepping in the way. Fight for the heart of every Muslim, Jesus. Pursue them radically with Your love. Awaken their hearts to the divine relationship they were created for, and save them. In Your name. Amen.
