Gaza Aid, Brazil Floods, Sudan War

GAZA: Authorities say nearly 35,000 Gazans have died since the war began on October 7, and around 300,000 have recently fled Rafah ahead of an Israeli offensive. In an effort to allay famine in the war-torn nation, the US built a floating pier and causeway for distribution of aid. The first shipment is on the way, but due to high seas, the system has been forced to harbor in Ashdod, Israel, for many days.

Lord, please calm the seas and make the way for aid to reach those in desperate need. Bring Christians to help with distribution and to share Your hope in the midst of these hard times. Protect the lives of those in danger, but most of all, Lord, please give the lost a deep longing for You. Cause them to seek Truth with all their hearts and find You are the One they’ve been looking for. Meet them in their dreams and show them the way of salvation. Turn the horrors of war into an open door for thousands to come to faith in Christ. Awaken Gaza to You, O God, and bring about a church-planting movement that spreads like wildfire, infiltrating all of Hamas and the surrounding countries.

BRAZIL: The death toll has now risen to over 107 due to heavy flooding in Rio Grande do Sul.

Lord, please rescue those who are trapped, comfort those who mourn, provide for those in need, and give every person affected by these floods a deep hunger for the One who is their Hope. Bring Christians to minister to those in need, and use them to share Your love with the lost. Put Bibles in the hands of every person who is hurting or displaced. When they cry out to You, answer them, O God. Awaken Brazil to Your love. Show every heart You are their Way, Truth and Life. Speak to them in such powerful ways, they will turn to You and be saved.

SUDAN: Evidence has been released of tens of thousands of ethnic Massalit and non-Arab men, women and children murdered/raped by Rapid Support Support Forces and their Arab allies since war began last year.

Lord, please be a Shield around every innocent man, woman and child in danger and get them to safety. Bring an end to this war quickly, Lord, and bring to justice every murderer and rapist. Bring to their knees before You those bent on evil. Visit them in their dreams. Let them see You and hear You in visions during the day. Break the chains that bind them to demons, and set them free to repent of their sins in fear of the Lord, turn to You and be saved. Protect Christians from persecution and use them to share Your love with the millions of lost Muslims all around them. Use this terrible war of Muslims against Muslims to cause thousands to turn from Islam to Christ. Provide the way for them to access the Bible or to connect with Christians who will share with them the way to salvation. Awaken all of Sudan to Your truth, O God. Awaken them to Your love. Don’t let even one more person die without hearing the good news about Jesus.
