More than 300 students were abducted from a primary and secondary school in Kaduna’s Kuriga village last Thursday, March 7, by armed bandits on motorcycles. Some of the children escaped, but 287 are still held captive by the terrorists, who demand more than $620,000 in ransom.
Lord, please have mercy on these children. Bring them safely home. Be a Shield around them, protecting them from harm. Calm their fears. Assign Your angel armies to fight for them and make the way for their safe escape. Give police officers and others in authority wisdom and stealth. Make the way for the terrorists’ downfall and the rescue of every child. Please bring an end to the violence and persecution in Nigeria. Bring to their knees those bent on evil. Convict them of their sin and pursue them relentlessly, until they drop their weapons in fear of the Lord and choose Christ as Savior.
