BURKINA FASO: At least 15 Christians were killed by Muslim terrorists while gathered for worship on Sunday, February 25, in Essakane village, Oudalan province.

Pray for the families who are grieving, for healing and forgiveness. Pray for protection over all Christians, and for God to meet every Muslim extremist in their dreams, strike them with fear of the Lord, move them to repentance, and save them.

PAKISTAN: A judge acquitted two Christian brothers, Umar and Umair Saleem, of false blasphemy charges that led to thousands of Muslims attacking Christian churches and homes in Jaranwala, Punjab, last fall. (Christian Daily International-Morning Star News, March 4)

Their lives are still in danger from Muslim vigilantes, so they cannot return home. Pray God will provide for all their needs and lead them to a safe place to rebuild their lives. Pray for the three Christians who brought the false charges against them, that they will repent and sow love rather than hatred. Pray for the thousands of Muslims who joined the rampage against Christians in Jaranwala, that God will meet each one in their dreams, lift the veil from their eyes so they will see Jesus as He truly is, lead them to repentance in fear of the Lord, and show them the way of salvation.

Zimran Asim, a Catholic in Sargodha, Punjab, falsely accused of desecrating pages of the Quran and writing blasphemous content, has spent more than six months in jail, despite clear evidence he is innocent. (CDI-MSN, Feb 26)

Pray all charges will be dismissed and he will be freed. Pray for protection over his family.

NEPAL: Pastor Keshab Raj Acharya, sentenced to one year in prison for proselytizing, is hoping the sentence will be reduced to a fine. (MSN, Feb 27)

Pray for protection for Pastor Keshab, his family and all Christians ministering in Nepal. Pray he will have favor with the judge and all those involved, the prison sentence will be dropped, and the fine reduced. Pray God will anoint Keshab, his wife, and all Christians in Nepal, to boldly share His love. Pray for a Great Awakening to Christ in Nepal.
